  • I work as a Research Consultant for BodyMedia and work on many interesting projects using statistical machine learning to make clinical, medical, and physiological predictions from simple wearable sensors. I was Director of Research at BodyMedia in 2007-2008 and Director of Informatics from 2002-2007.

  • I am a part-time member of Just Passing Through, LLC, and we design (and play in)
    games like this and this.

  • I helped start and worked part time for six years at Blue Pumpkin Software, a company that makes workforce management software. Blue Pumpkin was purchased in 2005 by Witness Systems for $70 million. Witness has since been purchased by Verint.

  • I like to play bridge, go, chess, and rock-climb when I can find the time.
